Nothing to do on your side. There is no new plan to opt into and no setting to re-save. If you want to change plans, you can do it in Settings at any time, before or after 1 October.

Why

Why the fees are going up

A 5-minute market never sleeps. That is 288 rounds every day, seven days a week, and the bot has to be watching live prices and order books for every one of them, for every user at once. Keeping that running without gaps is where the money goes.

As more traders have started using 5MTBot, the cost of doing that properly has grown with them:

  • More people behind it: we have taken on more staff to build, run and support the bot.
  • More infrastructure: more capacity to keep the engine, the live data it reads and the dashboard responsive while many accounts trade the same rounds.
  • Always on: a service that works round-the-clock markets has to be operated round the clock too.

The new fees cover those costs so the service can keep running at the standard you expect.

In dollars

What it looks like in practice

Take a stretch of 100 trades in which 60 win and 40 lose. Here is what each plan would charge for those 100 trades, before and after the change:

100 trades, 60 winsUntil 30 Sep 2026From 1 Oct 2026
Per winning trade60 × the fee $1.80 $3.90
Per trade100 × the fee $1.50 $4.00

Notice that the order flipped. At today's prices the per-trade plan is the cheaper of the two for this example; from 1 October the per-winning-trade plan is. That comes down to one number, covered next.

Choosing a plan

Which plan suits you from 1 October

Which plan costs less depends only on how many of your trades win. The break-even point is the per-trade fee divided by the per-winning-trade fee, and it moves with this change:

  • Today: $0.015 ÷ $0.03 = 50%. If more than half of your trades win, the per-trade plan is cheaper.
  • From 1 October: $0.04 ÷ $0.065 ≈ 61.5%. The per-trade plan only comes out cheaper once more than about 62 of every 100 trades win.
  • Below that line, the per-winning-trade plan costs less, and losing trades still cost nothing on it.

Your own win rate is on the dashboard, in the Your Numbers panel under Won vs Lost. Check it against 61.5%, then keep or switch your plan under Settings → Platform Fees.

Unchanged

What is not changing

  • No fee on losses with the per-winning-trade plan. You still pay only when a trade closes in the green.
  • Your funds stay yours. Every trade runs through your own Polymarket wallet; 5MTBot never holds your money.
  • Your setup stays put. Strategy, limits, trading hours and every other setting remain exactly as you left them.
  • Today's rates until the switch. Every trade up to and including 30 September 2026 is charged at the current fee.

Thank you for trading with 5MTBot. The higher fee is what keeps the engine watching every round for you.

5MTBot is an independent tool with no affiliation to Polymarket. Prediction markets carry real risk. None of this is financial advice.

Review your fee plan under Settings, or open the app and follow the rounds live.
